Retail Product Line Seals Up on Savings |
Consumers offered improved product visibility; retailers gain profitability
Ripon, Wisconsin, July 1, 2005 - Creative Forming, Inc. announces the newest line of thermoform packaging with the innovative development of the Creative Forming Retail Product Line, a unique two-piece polyethylene terephthalate (PET) package.
Created to fill a need in the marketplace, the Retail Product Line streamlined two-piece 100% Recycled PET (RPET) package features excellent clarity, which provides consumers with an environmentally responsible choice and also allows retailers to gain profitability through lower package development costs.
The clear packaging highlights and enhances product features, offering three-sided product visibility critical for retail and club store display. The packages are also appealing to the customer, supporting impulse purchasing.
“By allowing three-sided visibility of the product, it offers an eye-catching presentation for our customer,” said Marc DeGroot, Manager, Marketing and Customer Support. “This type of packaging for products is ideal for club store palletized display configurations.”
The Retail Product Line is designed for UV sealing to provide the highest throughput as well as lower labor costs. Another key feature of the new line is the security seal strength which is greater than the plastic itself.
“A critical component to this process is our ability to match our PET thermoforming expertise with technologies of our partners in the adhesives and UV sealing industry,” said DeGroot. “This provides state-of-the-art package security.”
The Retail Product Line packages are now available in four sizes — junior, small, medium and large. The versatility of the product allows companies to display their products either vertically or horizontally without wasting valuable storage space.
The Creative Forming Retail Product Line is environmentally friendly, being made of 100% recycled PET.
